Back to work – back to reality. Naturally it is chilly outside and overcast – as though Mother Nature had to add her 2 cents in regarding most peeps mood about getting back to the daily grind – as much as we value having a daily grind to get back to – it is tough! Especially after settling into sleeping in/staying up late and having a clueless chick giggling and talking loudly outside my window at 2:15 this morning – seriously… As soon as the weather warms up above 50 I tend to open my windows – being a rampant fan of fresh air – and when it is cold, it allows me to cuddle up under my fat comforter – which also helps me sleep. Stupid giggly girl. So far this morning I revamped an ad, spent nearly two hours proofing nearly 20 new sell sheets – I’m a little bonkers. I have to leave a tad early today to go see an eye doc – first time in easily over 15 years… I’ve been blessed with reasonably decent vision – though getting older and spending more and more time utilizing my eyes for my daily grind – they are getting a lil’ tired. Hopefully if I do need glasses, only so for reading.
I work with a woman who wears one of the worst smelling “old lady” perfumes. The kind you can smell ten minutes after she leaves the area. She was in the kitchen. The air smelled of old lady and hot dogs. I don’t know what to make of that.
